FAITH FORMATION FOR CHILDREN at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church
The faith formation process for children centers on the monthly People of Faith gatherings. The People of Faith gatherings include in-depth learning sessions for preschool and elementary age children and their parents. The People of Faith gathering is one component of the Community Lifelong Intergenerational Faith Formation or C.L.I.F.F. offerings at O.L.M.C.
Families attend the People of Faith gatherings together to share a meal, participate in the intergenerational opening experience and learn about their Catholic faith through engaging activities. Faith development is extended through the resources provided in the monthly Home Kit. The Home Kit supports the monthly focus through traditions, rituals, prayer & learning activities. Families are empowered to live their faith as they learn, celebrate and serve in our faith community.

Additional parent and child workshops are offered to help prepare children for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
